Who We Are

LOD Creator Studio is a Chrome extension and web service built by Ryan Billiot (@LawOfDistraction). The service is operated at lodcreatorstudio.com and accessible via the LOD Creator Studio Chrome extension.

What Data We Collect

Email address - collected when you sign up on lodcreatorstudio.com or activate the extension. Used to send your install link, product updates, and account information. You can unsubscribe at any time.

Credit usage data - the extension tracks how many credits you have used and how many remain. This data is stored in our secure database (Cloudflare KV) and is used solely to enforce your plan limits and display your balance inside the extension.

Channel preferences and workflow memory - the extension stores your channel settings, preferred story styles, and workflow state locally in your browser (Chrome storage) and in our database. This is used exclusively to restore your session when you return.

Video metadata - when you use LOD Creator Studio on a YouTube video, the extension reads the video title, description, and comment data from that page. This information is sent to our API to generate scripts, titles, and hooks. It is not stored permanently after your session.

What Data We Do NOT Collect

• Passwords or authentication credentials
• Financial or payment information (handled entirely by Stripe)
• Health information
• Personal communications or messages
• Precise location data
• Your full browsing history
• Data from pages outside of YouTube and YouTube Studio

How We Use Your Data

• To send your install link and product updates via email
• To track your credit balance and enforce plan limits
• To generate AI-powered content using the video you are working on
• To remember your workflow preferences between sessions
• To display live usage statistics on lodcreatorstudio.com

Who We Share Data With

We do not sell your data to anyone. We share data only with services necessary to operate LOD Creator Studio:

• Anthropic (Claude AI) - processes your video content to generate scripts, titles, hooks, and tags
• Cloudflare - hosts our API and database under Cloudflare privacy policy
• Stripe - processes payments. We never see or store your payment card details
• Kit (ConvertKit) - manages our email list for product communications

Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on Cloudflare global network infrastructure with industry-standard security. Credit balances and preferences are stored under a unique account key tied to your email address.

To delete your account and all associated data, email lodreelwriter@gmail.com. We will process your request within 7 business days.

Chrome Extension Permissions

• activeTab - reads current YouTube video metadata for content generation
• storage - saves your preferences, workflow memory, and credit balance locally
• scripting - injects the LOD Creator Studio sidebar into YouTube pages
• tabs - detects YouTube navigation to prepare the extension
• clipboardWrite - copies generated content to your clipboard when requested
• alarms - resets daily usage counters at midnight

Your Rights

• Access the data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and data
• Unsubscribe from emails at any time

Cookies

Lodcreatorstudio.com does not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising trackers.

Children

LOD Creator Studio is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13. Contact lodreelwriter@gmail.com immediately if you believe we have.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of LOD Creator Studio after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.
