Getting Started

Install the Extension

Add LOD Creator Studio from the Chrome Web Store. It takes about 60 seconds and works in any Chromium browser (Chrome, Edge, Brave, Arc).

Activate With Your Email

Open the extension and enter your email to activate. Your starter credits load automatically — no credit card required to begin.

Open Any YouTube Video

Navigate to a video in your niche and the studio appears in the sidebar. Hit Scan More first to read the comment sentiment, then start generating.

Tip: The best first move is the Comment Scanner. Knowing what the audience already said before you write anything changes the whole script.

How Credits Work

LOD Creator Studio runs on a simple credit system. Some tools are always free; the heavier AI generations draw from your monthly credit balance.

Comment Scanner, Title generation, Tags, Descriptions, and the Teleprompter never consume credits — on every plan, including Free.

Uses Credits

Script, Hook + CTA, and Thumbnail generation draw from your balance. Each generation shows its credit cost before you run it, so there are no surprises.

Your monthly credits refresh on a rolling 30-day cycle from your activation date. When you run low, you can upgrade your plan or top up — your balance is always visible in the extension header. For current credit amounts per plan, see the pricing table on the main page.

Troubleshooting

The sidebar isn't showing up on YouTube

Refresh the YouTube tab after installing. The studio injects on watch pages (youtube.com/watch), so make sure you're on an actual video, not the homepage or feed. If it still doesn't appear, toggle the extension off and on from chrome://extensions and reload the page.

My credits aren't updating

Your balance lives in the extension header and refreshes when you reopen the panel. If it looks stale, close and reopen the sidebar. Credits reset on a rolling 30-day cycle from activation — not on the 1st of the month.

Comment Scanner returns nothing

Scroll down into the comments section so the page loads them, then press Scan More. The scanner reads comments that are actually rendered on the page, so a video with comments disabled will return no sentiment.

A generation failed or stalled

This is almost always a temporary API hiccup. Wait a few seconds and try again — failed generations don't consume credits. If it persists, reload the YouTube tab to reconnect the extension.

I activated but didn't get my install link

Check your spam folder for an email from lodreelwriter@gmail.com. If it's not there within a few minutes, reach out below and we'll get you sorted.

The extension stopped working after a YouTube update

YouTube occasionally changes its page structure. Make sure you're on the latest version of the extension from the Chrome Web Store — updates roll out automatically, but a browser restart forces the check.
